NEPHI TESTIFIES OF THE LORD'S TENDER MERCIES

I, Nephi, will show unto you that the tender mercies of the Lord are over all those whom he hath chose, because of their faith, to make them mighty even unto the power of deliverance.

Compare 1 Nephi 1:20 to Moroni 10:3

Read these things, how merciful the Lord hath been unto the children of men...ponder in your hearts.

PRINCIPLE: THE LORD'S TENDER MERCIES ARE EXTENDED TO THOSE WHO EXERCISE FAITH IN HIM.
